Just a selection of the cards currently on display above the fireplace.

Attractive postcards from Lviv and Kviv (Kiev) in the Ukraine. One you probably recognise of the Colosseum in Rome, and finally one a bit closer to home from Wick - a scene painted by L S Lowry who lived there for a short time.

But pride of place goes to this signed picture from Kaiya Jones who plays the part of Sophie Ramsay in the long running Australian soap Neighbours. If you have ever watched her you could be forgiven for thinking she was a native Australian but actually she is from Glasgow! She moved over there some years ago with her family. This card came to us via her Aunt (Kathleen) who lives just outside Glasgow.

In the current storyline Kaiya Sophie is in a coma following a car crash. That gives her a bit of an extended holiday. Maybe worth keeping a lookout for her in Glasgow just in case she is visiting home!
