Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Who - Call Me Lightning (completed 22-26 February 1968, Gold Star, Hollywood CA from a basic track recorded 1 January 1968, at IBC, London)
Demoed by Pete Townshend in 1964 and considered for the Who's first single (when they were the High Numbers), this overlooked song from the Who's canon was finally released as a single in America in March 1968, but in old Blighty it was buried on the B-side of Dogs in June 1968.
I played it on the box set Maximum As And Bs released the previous day. It arrived in a parcel that I did not have to sign for. On the box set it is in its original glorious mono, but I couldn't find a decent clip of that online so here it is in stereo.
