Hey! You've grown!

You first met this fellow about 2 weeks ago. S/he is now about 4cm long - the blueberry plant is obviously agreeing with her/him. Apparently they pupate in a crevice in tree bark and overwinter like that. However this one is more likely to snuggle down in the bark chippings around the blueberry bush so I'll have to watch out for her/him.
Nothing much else to report really - worked from home this morning and played hide and seek with the pair of sparrowhawks. They won. Every time I moved away from the camera one or other of them would dive in for an attack.
Helen and Simon are here for the weekend. It is Simon's birthday treat from me - flying over our house, on to Snowdon, lunch in Caernarfon airfield and home again over Anglesey - so expect a blip from the skies tomorrow!
