18th Birthday Celebration

We left our trip out a bit late today and by the time we'd got to the coast the sky was beginning to cloud over.  And was it cold? The wind coming off the sea, on an incoming tide, was bitter and much stronger than we'd experienced in Danby.  I bet they'd hoped for a continuation of the mild Autumn when they arranged this celebration.  At least they'd organised a couple of the beach huts around which they could party - I bet they'd wished for a few more!!

The light across the moor was fantastic and I think I'd have been better off opting to do my photography there.  The roads were frosty with sheep in the middle of them, I couldn't make up my mind whether they'd found small puddles of water or some salt to lick.
