Frigid Late Afternoon

With Daylight savings time in the history books, the day ends before I'm ready each day and all of a sudden the sun is going down and that golden light beckons for a photo.  At least that's my excuse for this photo.  I really did like the way the sun was casting its long shadows across this tree though.  

A very busy day with all fun things and a really pleasant couple of hours with a dear new friend who is navigating her way through the loss of her son almost a year ago.  

Thank you to all the Veteran's who went and did what they had to do.
