Paddy the Cat

In the next thrilling instalment of The overworked academic here is my day:

05:00 alarm goes off, I jump out of bed and after a quick cup of tea return to where I left off last night.

10:00 have a shower and wash hair (shamefully admitting that I can't remember when I last washed it!)

10:30 back to work

12:30 complete reviewing and turn to urgent e-mails from the end of last week

13:20 packing

13:30 lunch with Mr hazelh

14:00 finish packing

14:30 sit on sofa for 45 minutes and watch television! We find an episode of the Simpsons never viewed before, but it must be an old one because Lisa plays vinyl records on an old-fashioned turntable.

15:15 gather belongings

15:30 walk up to airport bus

16:30 arrive airport

17:45 flight to Heathrow

19:00 arrive Heathrow

19:20 meet friends

20:00 arrive at friends' house

20:10 hunt for blip, and find Paddy the Cat

I am now enjoying a glass of wine at the kitchen table with my friends. Phew!
