Bass Rock

Took a trip down to Tyninghame taking the Uffingers to see the sea! I'd just said how lucky we were that there was no wind when we reached the headland and turned into a cutting blast. It was high tide so the beach was almost non-existent but there were still a few hardy souls tramping across the rocks and through the seaweed. The gulls didn't mind the the weather or the tide.

Later it was up to the Queens Hall for a Fiddle Festival concert. Patsy Reid and her band were great, the Jeremy Kittel Trio were fantastic. A spicy chicken wrap and a taxi home wrapped things up. Apparently you're not allowed to eat in taxis these days but the driver said I was enjoying the wrap so much he didn't have the heart to tell me!
