The triffids are back

Edinburgh Zoo has installed a large quantity of Chinese lanterns for Christmas.  They're very large and make quite a sight, with lots of LED lighting they must make a splendid show at night.  This is one of the more restrained - there's a 2m tall blue frog and thistles that are as high as houses, as well as lots and lots of pandas and panda cubs.

And yes - that's one of the grandchildren trying hard to get in on the photo too.
