St. Vrain River

I actually got out for a walk with my camera today!  Of course I went to my favorite park, Golden Ponds, and took lots of pictures.  The waterfall that I often photograph has so little water flowing that I could walk out on the rocks at the top and get this shot of the still river just before it goes over the falls.  Once over the falls, the river narrows and flows faster.  Many thanks to Cailleach for hosting Wild Wednesdays and to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Angle Wednesdays! 

I am grateful that this beautiful park is 5 minutes from home!
