Berries by the river

Ok - enough of big skies and sun events. Here's a totally sky-free photo of the wonderful red berries overhanging the River Eachaig at Benmore Botanical Gardens today. We usually don't cross the curved bridge in winter, when the gardens are officially closed - we go over the car bridge - but today I was fed up with thinking about lunch and we went out to have some soup in the James Duncan café.

Too late I saw the weather forecast on the BBC app which said Benmore would have "fog". Not the fog of my childhood, natch, all smoke and greyness and filth, but fine rain that didn't feel like much at all but left us soaked after an hour. Lovely, though, and utterly peaceful.
