Midland Painted Turtle

This good-sized turtle is, I believe, a Midland Painted Turtle, one of two subspecies of painted turtles in Ontario and is a resident of one our frequent blip stops: the McKenzie Marsh in Aurora. It's getting much colder so we shall not be seeing many more of these beasties sunning themselves until the spring returns.
