Honor guard

One of the moving moments of this day - the celebration of Finland's independence for 100 years - was the honor guard at the soldier's graves. Each grave was manned by a man about the same age as the fallen man had been. They laid a fir wreath on the grave, then stood guard. Some of them looked so young...
We were in a special concert, where the living veterans were honored. In the evening there was a torch parade by the students of the local university. So very glad I'm here.
