Shenstone in the snow

The snow has stopped falling and the sun has come out to give us a lovely crisp clear day.  It is icy underfoot but the sun has some warmth in it and is melting the snow from the tree branches.  There are some splendid snowmen in gardens around the village.  This picture is taken from my often trod path alongside the stream.
