Nice Scarf, Not Sure About the Shoes

Edinburgh's Grassmarket is an excellent place to go looking for material for the Silly Saturday Challenge (and thanks to Admirer for continuing to host it). Currently there is a Christmas Fair on the ancient cobbles where the gallows used to be set up in days gone by.

We were there with some of our SMG singing friends to do a set of  carols. We squeezed onto the tiny (outdoor) stage, clinging to each other for warmth, and to stop us falling off), and sang quite briskly.  The punters seemed more interested in the burger stalls, and you could not blame them.

The chap above was with another set of entertainers. He doesn't look too happy, and something with big fingers is inching towards his crips. Not sure what the theme of their show was, they just seemed to walk about.  There's another in the extras.

We didn't linger long.  A few more errands were ticked off the list, then we made our ways back to the Borders. I hope we've remembered everything, I really don't want another trip to the city till after Christmas.
