The Edge of the Wold

By gladders

A good day

The day started quite promising with the sun rising into a mainly cloud-free sky. Half an hour later and there was a gathering haziness, through which sunlight was slanting down the shallow valleys between the whaleback hills.  When we were in Lancaster the sky clouded over, and this evening it is foggy outside.

I had my consultant's appointment this morning, and he was pleased with progress. A date has been set for the next bone marrow biopsy in January, and although we can't prejudge the outcome of that, the signs are all good.

Gus and I then had an enjoyable afternoon visiting a former colleague who has moved to the village.

Thanks for all the stars, hearts and comments on the redshanks blip.
