Drowned and bedraggled

Just as we were cutting the hedges and I was trying to sneak a few moments to blip some lilies, the heavens opened . These rudbeckia took a real hammering but I think they look rather lovely all collapsed - like a scene from Swan Lake.
The sun was so lovely today and I hope we all have more over the weekend.
