Blazing in the Snow

Donning my warmest boots I tromped through the snow to look for that darn mockingbird and found him guarding his turf from the hollies. The culprit can be seen in Extras.

I took several pictures not sure how they would come out because my gloveless right hand was frozen in the breezy 13*F weather.

The heather has begun its winter show. Isn’t it wild that its most vibrant color appears in the bitter cold? (That’s my sneaky way of trying to qualify this as a WW photo. I know - it’s a stretch, but what the heck?)

My fave is the heart in the extra. I assure you my heart is not as cold as this one. (No matter what anyone says to the contrary!)

Thanks to Cailleach for hosting WildWednesday again. :)
