Howling winds and bone chilling cold

These movie patrons are leaving the warmth of the theatre and making their way to their cold vehicles. Rushing along on post blizzard iced steps and sidewalks just as we did moments before, shocked by the intensity of the cold. I snapped this as we passed the cinema, heading home. Tonight is the coldest I have felt since my two years teaching in Van Buren, Maine, a town on the Canadian border. The windchill tonight makes it positively dangerous to be outside. Thankfully, we are safely home in a cozy house after seeing "The Darkest Hour".

For the Record,
This day came in with brilliant sun and deep snow. It's positively bone chilling cold.

All hands happy to be warm
