Ide Hill

We made a quick stop at Ide Hill on the way back to Mum's today after her "holiday" with me for the week.  Much of the surrounding area is owned and managed by the National Trust, originating with Toys Hill which was donated  in 1898 by Octavia Hill, one of the founders of the National Trust, who lived at nearby Crockham Hill.

This is views across the Weald towards Bough Beech reservoir on a day with some very difficult light conditions.
