Hungry Birds

The birds and squirrels were busy at the feeders this morning. The snow and cold came back last night so the critters were hungry! The last few days were very warm and a lot of the snow melted. Today we are snowed in and the snow is deeper than ever.

The camera club had planned a winter photography outing that was cancelled due to concerns about driving. Although I was disappointed, I doubt I could have made it out of my driveway anyway. The plows are busy trying to dig us out, but didn't make it to our street until this evening. So, instead, my image is through the window, frost and snow, in the comfort and warmth of the house. I hope the birds have a warm nest.
