GREENHOW IN NIDDERDALE

There were only three of us up at Greenhow this afternoon, three who should have had more sense! I was possibly the wisest as I stayed down at The Lime Kiln, cold and wet but without the gale which must have been blowing up at COLD STONE CUT. There are more photos on MY FLICKR PAGES if you fancy taking a look.
Earlier we kept dearest's Hospital appointment, we now have a name and a cream to rub on it, she was very worried so at least we can move forwards now, to make something of the day we went to The Sportsmans at Wath for a light lunch, there were a group of ladies sitting next to us chattering away, they didn't disturb us but as they got up to leave one of them said sorry about the noise, I was just about to say there was o problem when one of the others said she knew my wife from somewhere, she guessed that Brenda worked in Hoopers (no but she knows how to spend my money in their clothes department), turns out they all worked for Bryant Homes back twenty something years ago, don't think my little lady recognised them mind. Stopped off to take the photos on the way home, couldn't decide which to choose hence the upload to Flickr.f
