Mineral kingdom

this is a pair of amethyst earrings . My favourite stones which happen to be also my birthstone. Thought I'd photograph them for tiny tuesday as 'stones' for this weeks mineral theme  but didn't realise that I'd also get a 'mountain reflection' in them .  Reminds me of a pair of glasses. I've looked all around my kitchen and can't spot the mountains that are shown here.
