on the web

Not that one!
I love the beauty of the spider's web. All have their own DNA, in that no two are the same. In fact each web is being constantly re-spun by the host spider, so focused are they on getting it right!
I use this blip as I walked outside this morning and straight into an invisible web, spun overnight and immediately destroyed the hard work of one small neighbour, albeit unwittingly.
We co-exist with many people, some of who, like my small friend, can be almost invisible to the eye. They are not in the run of our normal daily lives.  We miss their industry and don't benefit from their experiences. We only encounter them through serendipity and sometimes that engagement causes us to stop and think about the value of the new fellow traveller. Like me and the small spider.
Wouldn't it be much better if we recognised our fellow invisible travellers before we cause them grief or harm- whether by choice or accident. Embrace difference, it can only enhance your own life!
