Chilli-face

Steve has had to do some work requiring concentration today so I tried to stay out of his way with the kids as much as possible. We managed by going to tots in the morning, and then heading out into town after lunch to pick up Charley's new shoes that had arrived in stock.

Mission accomplished: a schedule of fees and works has been submitted, here's to tomorrow - hopefully a contract!

Ben's been on a roll today. He's been stomping merrily all over our nice western syntax of what to call your friends. He declared he has lots of boyfriends, and some girlfriends and (quite rightly I suppose) couldn't see the logic in calling girl friends "friends that are girls" etc.

Ah to have the innocence of a nearly-four-year-old.
