Rainbow in the Squall

7.4C mainly bright with some sunny spells. Squalls through the early afternoon.
Wind NW/WNW to 26 mph with gusts to 41 mph.

Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and carried on along Hall Street then the park and out Kilkerran road. The harbour was quiet, although RMS Rahm  was in at the new quay on the linkspan side being loaded with wood and more wood was arriving on lorries to be stacked on the quay.

We turned at Glenramskill House and came back the same way. We got caught in a heavy squall just by the Goldsmith's studio so we sheltered as best we could at the side of the road for a few minutes. We carried on along the street side of the park then came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open). By the time we got home we had been more or less blown dry.
