I Believe I Can Fly

As I was walking through the nature reserve today this buzzard came down from a tree just in front of me and fly a few yards to a fence where it hung upside down. Then it tumbled to the ground and stood there and let me walk quite close before it flew back along the path.

Then when I was returning a couple of hours later I reached the same point when it appeared in front of me before flying a few yards then landed on the path. It let me come right up behind it until I was only a few feet away. I photographed away even walking round in front of it to get a head on shot. Quite amazing. I have never known such behaviour from a wild bird.
