Road Trip

I always like to hire a vehicle when we go away to explore.

We managed to drive round most of the island in one day. There were some amazing roads climbing up then back down the mountainous West Coast. 

This was taken at about 2500ft up at a rest stop while traveling through the Parque Natural Tamadaba.

On our way back to the hotel we were stopped by the Island Police, two of us (not me!) didn't have seatbelts on. I was informed in broken English that there was a 280 Euro fine for such matters then let off with a stern warning.
