Kite surfing off Tankerton on the North Kent Coast

We went to Whitstable in the afternoon for a walk along the town's foreshore from Seasalter to Tankerton. An exposed walk as a strong northeasterly wind was blowing into our faces on the way out. Bracing would be the word to describe it, but not as bracing as this chap and others would feel as they were taking full advantage of the winds to speed and fly across the seas. This shot provides my submission for "Tiny People" for today. Thank you for hosting Hanulli.

Earlier we'd been to buy this year's seed potatoes and onion setts ready for the new season. Bit by bit we're getting stuff together so it must mean we're going to have a go at the allotment despite the very dispiriting circumstances since last September which have still not been resolved. I hear that there is a Council Sub-Committee meeting on Tuesday and there is an item on the agenda about a complaint from an allotment holder, but nobody has told me about it.

The extra is of Tankerton beach as the sun shines on a rapidly approaching squall which caught us about a mile before we made it back to the car.
