Buzzard

This morning I went out with our local RSPB group on a walk round Croxall Lakes in Staffordshire. As usual we saw lots of birds - and as usual in this area they were all within binocular distance but not near enough to point the camera at.
However, on the way home I drove up a lane and this Buzzard was sitting on the hedge by the road. So I turned the car round further up the lane, got the camera ready and wound the windows down. Despite cars, vans and tractors zipping past, the bird stayed long enough to get this shot.
I arrived home a very happy girl, good company this morning, decent sightings and a reasonable shot.
