Twas wet

We were quite prepared and excited as we fired up the engine in Claudette and set off to the Glen for a special holiday.

We stopped off to pick up Chantelle at the park and ride in Perth, then had a longish and wet journey north. A detour on the A9 is not too unusual, so we happily did the extra miles around a hold up and continued leisurely to our destination, depositing our travel companion at the end of the road and travelling to Kyle to pick up a friend and Actuary at Kyle, who arrived by train.

A lovely relaxed evening in the house getting ready for the "Gang " to arrive.

They may have had a wonderful summer in the Glen, but the weather on our arrival didn't bode well.
