The Feather

Found object from the front garden earlier today.

Oh, I have to tell - heart stopping moment this morning.  I saw in my own garden a female fairy-wren.  In 28 years, it's the very first time.  They are very vulnerable to cat attack - so prayers, crossed fingers, anything!!

Edit:  No this is not a fairy-wren feather.  Much too big.  I have no idea what it was from - most likely a parrot of some description.
