Greening the line

I introduced you to this project back in August.

Today OB and I joined a group of people who walked up to Pen Trumau, carrying lengths of felted wool, to add to the woollen lines and plant out bog cotton along the edges and in between. This is a harsh environment, but we hope that a good proportion of the cotton planted out will survive and help to consolidate the peat.

It feels good to lend a hand to this project.

For another perspective on the day see OB's blip here.

To see the view on the way up, including an amazing field of sheep, look here.

I'm rather behind looking at some of your journals since we went to Copenhagen - my apologies - hope to catch up tomorrow.
