Up for a haircut at James’s salon. There’s something about the place that makes you think it’s just really a front for some other business. And yes, the haircut doesn’t really disabuse you of that notion.
Onward to look at some art, as it’s the last day of the SSA exhibition at the RSA. And some decent stuff in there. They’ll be delighted to hear my view. Then I bought slippers! Clearly inspired.
Out later to the Diggers. The last ever printed NME! Dare I quote a certain paper again - beats thinking for myself: The truth is that the paper had umpteen "golden eras", and, with the greatest of respect to everyone involved in its manufacture, their existence usually had less to do with the quality of the writing than whether or not you were 17 or 18 when you were reading it.
So very cynical. Rather like Juve, kicking Spurs arses. And then the main agenda item - the Netherlands cycle! But then ... the last bus came. To be continued...
