We bought our ‘Tefal Jamie Oliver Professional Series Clipso Pressure Cooker, Stainless Steel, 6 Litre – Currently unavailable’  back in June 2007. 
 
The timer had problems about three or four years ago when the battery cover lost it’s tabs and the battery has been held in place with cello-tape ever since.  Back then replacement timers were still about, but expensive so I decided not to buy one for the sake of the battery cover. 
 
Recently the ‘+’ adjustment button started playing up, but the price of a replacement timer had more than tripled and was only on Ebay, so hang that.
 
Now the ‘+’ button has packed up completely so we have to set the time using the back button only, which is a pain - and I’m in trouble!  Guess what . . .
 
The pressure cooker is as good as the day we bought it (except for the timer) and seals and other spares readily available, AND a replacement equivalent model is twice the price we paid back in 2007, so if anyone knows where I can get a replacement timer from I would be forever grateful!
