Lucky hawk.

I have blipped this beauty before. Today he had all bandages removed, and is heading to a facility for rehabilitation. He needs to strenghthen his feet and wings  before release. Amazing 2 broken legs 4 weeks ago, and now on his way for release soon. He was young and healthy....all helps.
My beautiful owl yesterday, which was a Morepork -a native owl, passed away late last night. We did a post mortem this morning and it had multiple cat bites with one nasty one around its spine. We dont win them all, but we do keep trying.
