Fleeing

Not keen to leave the shores of Loch Lochy and head south of the border.

The starter cord on the engine had broken, so had to remove the cover, wind a cord around the top and start it that way. Then replace the cover and ensure it was properly locked in place. One year, I think in the Atlantic, I didn't double check and lost it but was able to get a used replacement somewhere.

From the photo looks like daughter Katie and Granny didn't trust the seaworthiness of Hi Jinx II.

Was a great holiday. Back home but stayed a night at a friends cottage in the Lake District which they had offered us.
