Brockwell Lido

I went to see my mum today. It was such a nice sunny (but cold) morning, I decided to walk through her local park. Couldn’t resist a shot of Brockwell Lido in the sunshine. There are a number of totally mad people swimming in the icy water just visible in the blip. They tell you that swimming in cold water is invigorating if you ask them, I still think the correct word is ‘mad’.
Cooked a batch of leek and potato soup for mum’s freezer, and a roast chicken and trimmings for the evening meal. Yum.
