A Friday's end...

I'd had a less than enthralling day of very worthy meetings. I really wanted to go home. But I'd had a request to meet someone interested in commercial development of post school education. I went along having left all my positive expectations behind

As it happened, it was, in the very best and least cynical of ways, a joy. Enthusiasm, a real sense of commitment to realising the benefits of colleges, and a plain and simple desire to help

I hope we may meet again to further our discussions. I'm sure we will.
