We celebrated Easter with an early ecumenical service in a local park around a little fire while the birds seemed to greet the new day with their delightful bird song under an almost clear sky with a backdrop of the snow covered hills.

Meanwhile the children had noticed that the Easter Bunny had not yet been. However later they discovered that indeed the bunny had been and played an April Fool trick on them.  To their surprise there was not the usual little eggs hidden around the garden but there were only four ‘real’ eggs.  What fun they had when they realised that these were bouncy balls.  After a snack of hot cross buns they discovered that the bunny had returned and left various eggs, some of which are here including the bouncy egg.  These will last a long time as their chocolate consumption is rationed.
