Mission Control

We visited the International Women's Air & Space Museum during our first full day in Cleveland. An unexpected bonus was this recently donated Apollo era console from NASA's Mission Control facility in Houston. IWASM has not completed installation of the console into a permanent display, so it is still out in the open allowing a closer look.

I was able to get the camera close enough to experiment a little with perspective. I had no control over lighting of course and the unit is unpowered and therefore unlit - which left it looking a little dull. So I used Adobe Lightroom to enhance the console's monochromatic appearance and accent the ordered lines of the various modules and controls.
