Sunbeams

Constantine Bay

This is supposed to be the top surfing beach in North Cornwall for the quality of the waves.  No one surfing today although the sun was shining and there was quite a swell out at sea.

This morning we visited Trerice House, an old Tudor home of the Arundell family who died out a couple of hundred years ago and since then the house has had a restless time with different ownerships and tenancies.  One end of the building collapsed but now all has been restored and it was the first property the National Trust actually bought because of the fabulous ceilings in the great hall and the upstairs bedroom.  Extra photograph is of the house.  And another of a Cornish wall.
