Dark sun

Ibiza marathon day. The town had been preparing for the finishing line in Santa Eularia for a few days. Painting, polishing, putting up crash barriers and lights for the sound machine. We cheered in the runners competing in the marathon and the 12k race. It was a special day. Something that made it more special was the haze that hung over the town all day, creating a screen for the sun and making it look more like the moon. I took this picture of the weak sun just as a microlight flew over the roofs to get in on the action.
Grateful today for the fun of the marathon, sharing with the grandchildren and the uniqueness of the hazy sun.
