Windswept Trees (widwed110418)

After a day of house clearing (i.e. tip, charity shop, tip, charity shop, repeat) we needed a walk in the fresh air so we went to Sand Bay for my blip - where I remembered seeing a couple of windswept trees previously, just not these two.  There was some wandering to and fro to find a reasonable viewpoint, surprising how what we both thought might be ok turned out to be uninspiring so after a discussion we though having the trees against the grey sky was the best available.

We have made progress with the house, Gill has arranged for the Heart Foundation to collect the large furniture on Friday and I appear to be 90% of the way with getting the tools collected by a different charity.   The stair lift was removed this afternoon too. Tomorrow will be groundhog day, but this time with some dodgy garden furniture.

When we get back from Saturday's blipmeet we could be sitting on the floor :-)

Sand bay is  little odd - Grand Designs houses sit next to a Pontins holiday camp .... but the beach itself is undeveloped, unspoiled and there are views out to South Wales on a clear day. The high ground in the blip is Sand Point, Wales was lost in the low cloud today and the view of Birnbeck Pier was almost a lost cause.

Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday.
