Sheepish Contraptioneer

What a delightful place to have a mini-vacation!

My sweetie and I had the opportunity to spend two nights in a delightful Victorian vacation rental, and we filled a good portion of our days walking about town on the obscure paths and back streets that reveal some of the most lovely delights of the town.

On the left, you see how some enterprising artists have transformed the underside of a highway bridge into an art gallery, and on the right you see how an even more talented Artist has colored the landscape throughout. Almost anywhere you looked, the sparsely-herbed hills in the distance were a great backdrop for the verdant vegetation in the town proper.

Of course the attraction common to both photos is not an Ashland item at all, but a lovely that has graced my life daily now for over eight years! We planned this trip around doctors' appointments in far-separated towns, so spent lots of time together and without a moment of getting tired of each other's company.

Happy Anniversary, Annie!
