Friday 6 April 2007: deep fire shot

My nephew decided to light the fire in his room, unfortunately the crows had built a nest, luckily for them they had no chicks but we got smoked out. We cleaned out the chimney, with equipment borrowed from my very understanding neighbours, afterwards we burnt the twigs, and other stuff in the fire place it burnt very brightly and the heat was terrific, I took a whole bunch of shots, this was my favorite. My son is coming down to visit for two days, which will be wonderful, I think I have seen more people visiting me in the last two weeks, then in the whole year I have been here, intense but nice.
