Caught in the moment!

I spent from 8am to 3:45pm at a track meet in the sweltering sun today, but it was a lot of fun and my athletes did a great job. Then it was home to get ready for phase one of my son's birthday party!

Playing in the garden, pizza, cake (fortunately I made it last night), movie, sleepover.

We are all so excited for phase two tomorrow.

There were so many lovely photos of my son enjoying himself with his friends, but I kept coming back to this one as he looks so happy!
