Female Orange Tip Butterfly

This afternoon a friend came around to visit. We're going to The Isle of Arran in a few weeks time and as she'd been there brought an OS map for us to borrow and info about where to go on the island. We had a good chat and a walk around the castle as well as having a good chat. 

The blip is of a female Orange Tip Butterfly ( only the male has the orange tipped wings) on a forget me not in my garden. 

Tonight we're off to see the film Finding Your Feet in Ellesmere. I'm looking forward to it as I've heard a number of good reports.
