A Bad Murder

Built in 1747, Kintore Town House is quite a striking building. The external staircase hides the town jail and no doubt many miscreants were kept there until that final journey to Gallows Hill for crimes such as stealing a loaf of bread or commiting a bad murder!
Kintore has had its share of Picts and Romans and even a Suffragette by the name of Caroline Phillips .......................
