Pumpkin Competition...

Bethany and Ewan had to carve pumpkins for a competition at the school. They are now of the age where they don't need all that much assistance from me. So I helped them with getting all the seeds and stringy-ness out, cut out a load of flesh to make myself a risotto tonight and let them get on with it.

Bethany did all her own designing and cutting, Ewan drew his design then I cut it out for him. When I'd finished, he cut out the extra eye that I'd missed. Three eyes on a pumpkin. That is the original type of thinking you can only get from a 4 year old.
