Coat Boy

Boy likes his new coat and refuses to take it off. Its a bit big and puffy so he had to take it off for dinner which he was not too happy about. His anger paled into insignificance compared to his sisters outburst at bedtime.

What started as a request for her to leave her brother alone resulted into a full blown tantrum about not having a bath, not saying sorry and a lot of door slamming. We are struggling a bit with Girls outbursts and determination at the moment and tonight was no different.

In the end it was when she managed to stub her toe on her brothers door in another slamming attempt that he defenses broke down, to needing cuddles, so we all ended up friends before she was asleep.

Boy, though behaving a bit better is fighting sleep again and tonight was no different. He took a football to bed again along with a cuddly toy. He even managed to fall out of his bed for the first time tonight in all his messing about before sleep. I have to say I was quite impressed with how he had managed to continue to hold the toy and the ball after landing on the floor.
